About the AFNOR

Cooperative partnerships and international projects

Groupe

In order to build and deploy its technical support and development services, the AFNOR syndicates the competencies of the leading French agencies specialized in areas from standardization, certification and quality management to testing, metrology, marketplace intelligence and consumer protection.

With public authority backing and support from French industry leaders, the AFNOR can mobilize multicultural teams with highly specialized skillsets to design and implement programmes geared specifically to individual national environments and industrial sectors.

Objectives

Delivering product quality and service quality is the cornerstone of economic expansion and competitive edge on international markets.

Quality assurance tools such as metrology, standardization, certification and testing enable businesses or nations to gain full process control over every dimension of technology know-how.

The target audience for AFNOR services includes administrations, standardization offices, and any organization involved in marketplace quality and stability in developing and/or emerging economies.

Facilitating membership to the WTO (World Trade Organization) or paving the way to European Union integration, driving the deployment of efficient and effective infrastructures, providing expert professional guidance on securing sustainable competency development: the AFNOR has been tackling missions like these for over three decades.
