AFNOR Rus Day in the French Embassy

The AFNOR Rus Day in the French Embassy" took place on April, 10th. This event, which has now become a tradition, was sequenced into 2 parts this year: the seminar "News on standardization and safety", which was held in the afternoon and the celebrations in the evening.


At the beginning Leonid Dvorkin, “AFAQ AFNOR Rus” General Director talked about news in standardization and certification in Russia and Europe and presented new ISO 31000 standard “Risk –management”.


During the Seminar, the AFNOR Group auditors and trainers made presentations on Sustainable Development (presented by Natalia Okhovikoiva), risk management and information safety (Valentin Nikonov), industrial safety and environment integration (Irina Gabova), new quality standard ISO 9001:2008 (Andrey Gorbunov), and also first ideas on the future standard ISO 9001:2000 (Evgeniy Avanesov).


The AFNOR Group clients exposed their comments on their experience concerning the creation and functioning of quality systems in the areas of management (East-Siberian Coal Company, Andrey Kosyrev), environment (Elektrochimpribor, Vladimir Kushkin), industrial safety (AREVA, Nadezhda VAhraneva) and food safety (PRIOSKOL’E, Ludmila Koltsova).


In the evening, the AFNOR Group and the French Embassy's guests were present at the ceremonyl, where organizations and companies, which successfully held AFNOR audits, were given their certificates. The evening carried on a festive note, with a fun quiz about France, then guests were able to exchange and discuss new ideas around a few French specialties, while listening to a concert of popular French melodies.
