Harmonization of eCatalogues is a key element in eBusiness transactions between big companies, ESMs or governmental organizations and may result in big savings. Join the CEN Workshop "Classification and catalogue systems for public and private procurement" seminar on 16th March 2010 in Saint-Denis.


The CEN Workshop "Classification and catalogue systems for public and private procurement" holds a Seminar on "Product Classification and eBusiness for SMEs" on 16th March at Afnor.


Harmonization of eCatalogues is a key element in eBusiness transactions between big companies, ESMs or governmental organizations and may result in big savings within companies.


The agenda of the seminar comprises a first part dedicated to the four major product classification systems: CPV1), ecl@ss, GPC and UNSPSC. During this very didactic session, the following topics will be addressed: description of the product classification systems, benefits for user-companies, advice for selection and implementation. A special highlight will be the presentation of CPV and its usage in public procurement.


In the afternoon, four European project s will be presented. These projects are about support to SMEs in implementing eBusiness.


The seminar is in English. Participation is free but registration is mandatory.
