Accreditation of AFNOR Certification for ISO/IEC 27001 certification

AFNOR Certification has been accredited by the COFRAC, French accreditation committee, for the ISO / IEC 27001:2005 certification of companies (Information Security Management System).

Depending on form and content, some information can become strategically crucial.

ISO/IEC 2007 certification is designed to demonstrate an organization's capacity to:

identify information assets of crucial importance in the organization's sphere of activity,
define the appropriate controls, protective measures and countermeasures,
implement an efficient, effective, cohesive information security management system.

This accreditation also confirms the relevance of the means deployed by AFNOR Certification : strategic committee and an oversight and improvement committee, ISO/IEC 27001 auditors process... to provide its customers with a transparent certification process, audits value added, while maintaining the confidentiality of information.
