Sport

200 million people in Europe regularly play some kind of sport. Another 140 million in the US. Physical recreation, without a doubt, has outstripped every other kind of downtime activity.

 

The pace is set to keep climbing, with the emergence of middle classes in China and India swelling these figures. There is also a growing trend towards leisure activities combining physical exertion, fun, and risk-taking.
