As requirements are ramped up on costs control and failure-free uptime for the facilities under their responsibility, maintenance managers now have to juggle with budget constraints, under pressure from top management, and the service quality levels expected by their internal customers.

 

Maintenance staff, over and above the skills and knowledge required for their profession, must also demonstrate a mindset oriented towards cooperative support, constant progression, and economic responsibility.
