CObaz Harmonized Standards
Voluntary standards are referred to as harmonized when they have been developed at the request of the European Commission to implement a European directive or
regulation. When cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, these standards give presumption of conformity: compliance with these standards also means compliance with the law. As such, access to these standards is facilitated. In France, AFNOR has applied this measure to the NF version of the standards concerned (click here for the list) and offers a text decryption and explanation service called "Harmonized Standards."
