Why get certified in CSR and sustainability?

Are you implementing a CSR initiative based on the ISO 26000 voluntary standard, which frames the subject across seven key areas? Why not use this as a unique selling point with your customers, users, or partners? To do so, showcase it by first having an external auditor verify that you’re following best practices. This is the principle behind the Engagé RSE assessment, conducted by AFNOR Certification’s assessment auditors. At the end of the process: the Engagé RSE label and its various maturity levels.

Prepare the sustainability audit required by the CSRD
In France, the regulatory framework for the CSRD requires companies subject to this 2022 European directive—which is set to be revised in 2025—to have their sustainability report verified by an independent third party selected from among several professional bodies: statutory auditors, certified public accountants,  certification body , attorney. The audit of the financial report and the audit of the sustainability report may be entrusted to a single entity or to multiple entities (co-insurance principle). Registered with the High Authority for Auditing (H2A), AFNOR Certification is your partner for sustainability matters, including for non-regulated companies wishing to join the movement based on the VSME voluntary model, designed for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Reasons to choose AFNOR Certification

  • A trusted and recognized third party
  • Comprehensive expertise in standards and benchmarks
  • A large pool of auditors

What is the Engagé RSE certification?

The Engagé RSE label is awarded by AFNOR Certification to organizations that wish to demonstrate their contribution to the SDGs, manage the environmental, social, and economic impacts of their activities, and encourage their employees to amplify their positive impacts. More than just a self-assessment or an online questionnaire, the Engagé RSE label is awarded following an on-site assessment conducted every 18 months.
