Among the most recent is the program  ADEME Industry Pact , whose Pro-SMEn program guides you toward ISO 50001 certification. Are you a manufacturer already committed to—or ready to commit to—ISO 50001 to streamline your energy management? Are you in the energy-intensive category, consuming more than 10 GWh of electricity per year—for example, in the paper, metallurgy, chemical, or cement industries? Your TURPE rate is reduced by 20% to 90%, depending on the case, if you hold a ISO 50001 certification .

Have you consumed an average of more than 85 terajoules per year over the past three years (equivalent to 23.6 GWh)? Starting in October 2027, the  New Energy Efficiency Directive  will require you to implement an energy management system in accordance with the recommendations of the ISO 50001 standard. As has been the case since 2012, holding an ISO 50001 certificate exempts you from the quadrennial energy audit.
