Implementing an equality and inclusion policy in 5 steps

  • Is your company, association, institution, or local authority committed to promoting gender equality and in need of an in-house expert? You can become that expert yourself by completing the training program.

You can also request IMPACT support from an AFNOR Compétences coach who will work with you internally to get all teams on board with the topic and improve professional practices.

  • equality label logo

The Professional Equality Between Women and Men label certifies that you are continuously improving in the area of professional equality between women and men in your human resources management. It highlights best practices to follow in order to structure a CSR approach around equality, improve working conditions and managerial practices, and develop a positive corporate culture. It echoes the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG No. 5 on gender equality.

The Professional Equality Label Commission represents the interests of employers and employees. It is chaired by the ministry responsible for this area. If the assessment is positive, the company is awarded the label for a period of four years.

  • diversity label logo

Does your social responsibility approach include respect for equal opportunities and the promotion of diversity in the workplace? Let people know with the Diversity label. The Diversity label allows you to showcase your actions in favor of diversity, such as the fight against discrimination and inclusive human resources management.

The Diversity Label Commission is co-chaired by the General Delegation for Employment and Vocational Training (DGEFP) and the Directorate-General for Administration and the Civil Service (DGAFP). It also brings together representatives of employers and employees. Obtaining the Diversity Label for four years is an opportunity to publicize your commitments and strengthen your employer brand.

  • If you are committed to both equality and diversity, kill two birds with one stone! Since 2015, you can apply for combined certification. The combination of the Professional Equality label and the Diversity label is a more distinctive mark of distinction.

  • A state label awarded by the Ministries of Sports and Gender Equality, the Terrain d'égalité label is aimed at organizers of major international sporting events. It demonstrates their commitment to promoting gender equality and combating all forms of discrimination and gender-based and sexual violence, both before and during sporting events.
