Eco-design of digital services: an international framework for taking action!

On April 17, 2026, the AFNOR Members’ Club invites you to learn how the international technical specification ISO/IEC TS 20125-1 helps structure digital eco-design approaches and supports stakeholders in moving toward more responsible digital practices

Operational excellence

Digital technology now plays a central role in organizations. However, its rapid growth is accompanied by a growing environmental impact, which raises questions about how digital services are designed and operated.

How can we design more sustainable digital services while maintaining their performance and user value? How can we effectively incorporate environmental requirements into digital projects?

To address these challenges, the international technical specification ISO/IEC TS 20125-1 has just been published. Led by French experts, it provides a structured framework for reducing the environmental impact of digital services throughout their entire lifecycle. It identifies key principles and operational eco-practices, from the expression of needs through design, development, and operation to the end of the service’s lifecycle.

Join our webinar on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. to learn how this international standard helps structure digital eco-design initiatives and guides stakeholders toward more responsible digital practices. During the webinar, you’ll discover the concrete benefits organizations can gain from implementing this standard in terms of performance, accountability, and innovation.

Participation is free, but registration is required.
