Direct Access to SNDS Data: A Certification to Support Your Requests to the CNIL

Access to health data is essential for medical research and innovation, provided that data security and patients' rights are safeguarded. 

To carry out your research projects, you can request access to data from the National Health Data System (SNDS) directly from the CNIL, or go through a third party.

If you are already submitting (or planning to submit) your own requests for access to the SNDS, this webinar is for you.

To help you meet a key requirement of the CNIL, AFNOR Certification has developed the AFAQ “Direct Access to SNDS Data” certification, which allows you to demonstrate that your use of data complies with the Public Health Code. Sanofi, the first certified pharmaceutical company, has already successfully used this certification in connection with a request for direct access submitted to the CNIL.
