Public Consultation on ISO 45001: Changes to the Standard and Key Issues

Join a webinar organized by AFNOR on the public consultation for the voluntary ISO 45001 standard to learn about its latest developments and the associated challenges.

Occupational health and risks

 ISO 45001, the leading standard governing occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS), entered the revision process in 2024. Today, the revision is well underway, and the draft is being submitted to a public hearing to be held in June/July 2026.

Whether you are a large corporation, a microbusiness, an SME, or a public organization operating in manufacturing, construction, or the service sector, we invite you to share your views on these new guidelines during the public consultation.

  • What are the main changes being considered?
  • What are the key issues in this upcoming new version (climate change, addressing health and well-being in the workplace, new technologies, etc.)?
  •  Why should you participate in the public survey?
  • What is the timeline for this review, and what are the next steps?

These topics will be discussed during a webinar on Tuesday, May 26, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., hosted by:

  • Christophe RICHARD , Development Engineer, trainer, and ISO 45001 auditor (AFNOR Développement);
  • Diane BERLIMA , Project Manager for Standardization, Occupational Health and Safety Division (AFNOR Standardization).

The standards of tomorrow are being shaped today. And certainly not without you!

Participation is free, but registration is required.
