Sustainable tourism: 2 certifications
Nearly one in five people temporarily leave their place of residence... just for the pleasure of visiting another! Tourism is growing worldwide every year. At this rate, will the planet be able to keep up?
Tourism means carbon-intensive travel, disruption of natural environments, massive waste production... Are tourism and sustainable development compatible? Yes, if everyone takes care, tourists and accommodation providers alike.
In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the AFNOR group, through its subsidiary AFNOR Certification, awards the European eco-label for tourist accommodation following a successful audit. Known and recognized for its flower-shaped logo, promoted by ADEME in France, it is the only official eco-label common to all European Union member countries. A huge guarantee of visibility! All tourist accommodation services are eligible: hotels, campsites, holiday villages, gîtes and guesthouses, etc.
Do you operate a site that receives visitors? To meet the demands of tourists who are increasingly attentive to the environmental commitment of the tourist sites they visit, get NF Environment Visitor Site certification! This certification, awarded following an audit, highlights your commitments and sets you apart from your competitors thanks to strong commitments to energy and water efficiency, waste reduction, more responsible digital technology, staff training, etc.
Health and medical-social services: sustainable development
Sustainable development in healthcare: the RSE SANTE project, launched in 2020, is led by the ADSNA association, with technical support from AFNOR and NEPSEN Evolution, and backing from the regional council and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Health Agency (ARS). Professional federations in the healthcare and medico-social sectors are partners in the project. A CSR HEALTH diagnostic tool is currently being tested for deployment in healthcare establishments in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Construction and CSR: aim for certification with construction cooperatives
The federation of SCOPs in the construction industry in Nouvelle-Aquitaine helps all SCOPs in the sector to commit to social responsibility. A tailor-made support program combines training and actions with the aim of achieving certification. This project is being carried out in partnership with the AFNOR group, with the support of Constructys and the Regional Council.
Local authorities and territories
We support local authorities and intermunicipal bodies in Nouvelle Aquitaine in their ambition to adapt their organizations and services to economic, societal, and environmental transitions. This translates in particular into:
- the implementation of quality measures, in particular quality of service to users ,
- improvement of quality of life at work for their agents, in search of meaning,
- change management based on the compass of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals ( 2030 Agenda ).
