New NF X50-783: a strengthened and simplified version to become a disability-friendly organization

The new version of standard NF X50-783 primarily clarifies certain points through improved wording, simplifies certain criteria, particularly those related to accessibility, removes redundant elements, and, in general, makes the recommendations more concrete and easier to apply.

Since the standard was published in 2010, practices and attitudes have changed. It was therefore important to update this normative document, which is essential for organizations that want to ask the right questions to facilitate accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. The revision was launched by and for users of the standard in order to enrich and improve it.

This standard comprises 62 recommendations, covering topics ranging from accessibility to information and the recruitment of people with disabilities to workplace accommodations, career development, and accessibility of premises.
