Responsibility Europe, a new international CSR label
The new Responsibility Europe label offers international visibility to holders of CSR labels based on ISO 26000 in France, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
CSR and sustainability
Created on the initiative of the AFNOR group (France), INDR (Luxembourg), and Ecoparc (Switzerland), Responsibility Europe offers international recognition to economic actors wishing to demonstrate their CSR efforts beyond national borders. It brings together CSR labels based on ISO 26000 and aligned with the SDGs.
Given the multitude of CSR labels and in support of ongoing work on non-financial reporting, it has become essential to give greater visibility and a stronger position to companies and organizations committed to CSR that go beyond self-assessment, rating, reporting, or sectoral reviews. The new Responsibility Europe label makes this possible.
Issued by AFNOR in France, INDR in Luxembourg, and Ecoparc in Switzerland, the Responsibility Europe label adds international recognition to companies and other organizations certified in their respective countries, reinforcing the credibility and visibility of their actions: a company certified " Committed to CSR " in France, for example, will also be able to display the Responsibility Europe label. The same applies to holders of the ESR Responsible Company label in Luxembourg and the EcoEntreprise CSR label in Switzerland.
A common denominator: the voluntary ISO 26000 standard and the SDGs
This dual certification is particularly meaningful given that national labels are all based on the voluntary ISO 26000 standard, the international benchmark for social responsibility adopted by 100 countries, and aligned with the 17 sustainable development goals set by the UN in 2015 for 2030. To date, more than 500 companies and organizations have been certified nationally, and 2,500 are engaged in a CSR certification process.
