On May 15, 2019 in Toulouse, France, AFNOR offers a day highlighting the contributions of international standards for the digital transformation of the industry. This meeting is organized in partnership with the regional council of Occitanie and the support of Airbus, EDF and Dassault Systèmes. This day is organized in the context of the ISO/TC 184/SC 4 plenary, the international technical committee of the International Standardization Organization on Industrial Data. Nearly 70 international experts are expected to participate.

Standards for model-based system engineering

Industrialists, researchers and associations will have the opportunity to attend the exchange and share their experiences on the standardization of industrial data. Where do we stand? What are the benefits and applications? Conferences and round tables will help to understand the importance of international standards in the digitalization of the industry: model-based system engineering, digital twinning of industrial installations, visions of Chief Data Officers, in different industrial sectors (aerospace and defense, nuclear, construction, manufacturing …), new generation of computer-interpretable standards, etc.

France, as chair of the ISO/TC 184 international technical committee, hosts the secretariat with the expertise of the AFNOR/CP IDMI National Commission, and will review the current actions and the prospects and projects identified.

This event will be translated into French and English.
