Why is effective water resource management important?

In France, the government’s water plan aims to reduce water withdrawals by 10% by 2030 compared to 2023. The focus is particularly on the 50 industrial sites with the highest water consumption (which account for 25% of industrial freshwater withdrawals). The ISO 46001 standard provides recommendations for:

- monitoring and measurement
- documentation, reporting, design, and procurement practices for equipment, systems, and processes
- hiring personnel who contribute to the management of water efficiency.

You can demonstrate full compliance with the standard and highlight your best practices in your responses to calls for proposals by having your water efficiency management system certified.
