Why pursue training in water management?
As the flagship initiative of the AFNOR Group, the management system approach involves building and developing business through interactions and connections with stakeholders, in order to achieve objectives and ensure they have a positive impact. This approach enables more efficient use of resources, better risk management, protection of people and the environment, and an increased ability to deliver products and services that make a difference for customers and stakeholders. All of this is done in a spirit of continuous improvement, with a designated leader, and following the “Plan, Do, Check, Act” (PDCA) cycle.
In the water sector, it is the voluntary standard NF ISO 46001 which provides guidelines for establishing and maintaining this management system. AFNOR Compétences offers training in this area. In total, four training programs are available:
- Efficiency, optimization, and water substitution
- Water production, distribution, and treatment
- Regulatory framework
- Protection and conservation of water resources
